I've completed my ONE MONTH CHALLENGE!! WhoOooHooo!
So today there will be no photo.
And now I'm unsure whether I will continue with the project. I love the idea that if I do continue, I would have documented a small part of my life through photos for an entire year. The only issue is glancing back at the last 30 photos, some were lacking in inspiration, composition and honestly some were taken and posted because I had a challenge to complete.
My posting has also been virtually non-existent since I started and it's not because of a lack of silly things to express.
I'm extremely loving my last photo and happy to be stopping on a high note.
...maybe I should have called it Project 30.

2010-11-08: Day 24
A few months ago I entered a competition - 'Live the Life of a Restaurant Reviewer'. First prize being Dinner for Two to the value of $150 every fortnight for a year at a great list of restaurants around Perth. It sounded fantastic. I desperatly wanted to win. Being a Restaurant Reviewer sounded like the ideal job - Paid to eat and then comment about it :)
Regrettably I didn't win the ideal job. Instead I came third (along with 999 others).

2010-11-07: Day 23
Inevitably there will be some days when not much is happening and consequently photo-wise it may be lacking. However this is not the case for today. I actually had quite a bit on and planned to take a photo out at dinner time with the family. Unfortunately I was starving and when the food arrived I scoffed it down without a thought.
Fortunately before dinner I snapped this.

Now I have two photos of flowers in three days.
This week will be better....hopefully.

2010-11-04: Day 20 - Hotness
For those of you who don't live in Perth or have been under a rock recently, the stores have extended their trading hours. This is MONUMENTAL and deserving of a *pause* to add effect.
....Anyway this turn of events began this week. It's a step in the right direction. Gone are the days of grocery shopping only on Thursdays or Saturdays to realise mid-week you've run out of the essentials like bread or ice cream. And now there are more options to contain my boredom on weekday nights when nothing is on TV.
However I still only went to the store tonight - Thursday.
I am a Creature of Habit.
And on my adventure I found this:

It made me think of Japan - The Land of Greatness and Ingeniousness!
This HotCan magically turns hot in 3 simple steps.

2010-10-31: Day 16

Plot:
Elizabeth Gilbert (Julia Roberts) had everything a modern woman is supposed to dream of having – a husband, a house, a successful career – yet like so many others, she found herself lost, confused, and searching for what she really wanted in life. Newly divorced and at a crossroads, Gilbert steps out of her comfort zone, risking everything to change her life, embarking on a journey around the world that becomes a quest for self-discovery. In her travels, she discovers the true pleasure of nourishment by eating in Italy; the power of prayer in India, and, finally and unexpectedly, the inner peace and balance of true love in Bali.
Review:
It's quite a long movie and slow in some parts but there's some funny moments. It's not my type of movie but it's a great way to unwind and not think for a few hours and at the end everything works out for Gilbert. The highlight of the movie is seeing Italy, India and Bali. Makes me want to travel.
On a side note:
Adult movie tickets are $17.50 per person. WHAT THE??? That's extortion.
Back in my day tickets were $7.00 *chuckles* Not showing my age at all... I just have a good memory.
Tomorrow begins birthday month. Yay!! Bring on the celebrations!!!

2010-10-29: Day 14

Each week I look forward to opening up my letter box and seeing all the glossy catalogues full of weekly specials. I couldn't resist taking a photo of what I found as 'this weeks special'.
My ramblings are true.
