My first post in the blogging world

I'm by far not a novice, for I spend many hours being entertained by other blogs I frequent. This will be a platform for my ramblings as I spend my days in quiet alone-ness and this will be my way of staying connected to society. Although I must admit, I have a short attention span and will one day be tired of blogging and give it up altogether. (note: one semi-assembled bbq in the garage and one partially assembled buffet table strewn across the entrance of the house. Now I'm trapped as the front door is boarded up).



So we should take a bet on how long it takes me to move onto a new and wonderful past time. But this is me getting ahead of myself in assuming I will have avid followers. Although one can only hope through this 'bet' I can retire for good.
