... are an odd concept.
Whilst watching an episode of Grey's Anatomy with the wife a while back, I couldn't help but comment on the nicknames of 'McDreamy' and 'McSteamy'.
I turn to the wife and ask - "What's mine?"
The wife pauses, then chuckles... "McMuffin"
I'll take that as a compliment. Somehow.

U2 - 360° Tour (feat. Jay-Z)
For the husband's birthday I bought tix to the U2 concert and fully cemented my title of 'Bestest Wife EVER'!
The husband was so enthusiastic he wanted to line up at 9:00am even though U2 were only performing at 8:30pm. Finally he agreed to go at 3:00pm instead.
We rush to Gate 8 where we were told that Gate 24 was taking the first 3000 people into the inner circle. The excitement level rose significantly at the thought of being in this special section normally costing more than $300 per person. But unfortunately we just missed out. As we entered the stadium all disappointment left us as we saw 'The Claw' and hurried for the best standing position. We managed to get prime positions front and centre right up against the barrier of the 360° stage, which actually worked out in our favour as we didn't have to crane our neck to see the performance. And Bono was literally 2 metres away and we could see every fibre of him and every strand of hair and bead of sweat.

It was an awesome night and I can't go on enough about how great it really was.

Stolen
My cousin and his wife and two kids are in Perth so we decided to catch up over dinner. His kids are fantastic, super friendly, fun and cute.
My brother has a strange fondness for squishing people's faces. I don't quite understand why, maybe it's to feel how chubby their cheeks are and to see how round someone's eyes can get when you mould their face with your palms.
Ten minutes hadn't passed when my brother asked my cousin's 3 year old daughter 'Little A' if he could squish her face. She complied, although I think she didn't quite understand what my brother was asking her.
It was cute seeing her cheeks being squished and she seemed to like this new game. So much so that she asked my brother if she could do it to him. How could he refuse that innocent smile and those big brown eyes?! So he bent down to her level and let her little outstretched hands squish his face.
As Little A's hands were squishing my brother's face she took a step forward to close the gap between them and with a chuckle she added her own spin to the game. Her head moved forward and knocked into his. My brother froze in surprise and shock. She squealed with laughter and joy at his surprise. This cheeky 3 year old just stole a smoo.
I love kids - they do and say the funniest things.
